Topical Chemotherapy Treatments
Topical Chemotherapy Treatment
This patient was treated over a period of 3 months. If untreated, a small subset of AKs can develop into Squamous Cell Carcinoma. One of the many reasons we strongly advise regular skin checks / skin cancer screenings, as well as promptly contacting your board-certified dermatologist for an appointment if you notice changes to your skin. Good prevention in addition to proper health screenings: Sun protective clothing and broad-spectrum sunscreen can help prevent the formation of Actinic Keratoses. Treatment options can involve Fraxel Laser treatment, Cryotherapy, Topical Chemotherapy, among others. The most appropriate combination of therapies for a patient is individually developed with our providers based on the specific needs and underlying health conditions of each client. More
