What is a DAXXIFY?
We are excited to introduce DAXXIFY, which is the first and only peptide-powered, FDA-approved frown line treatment with a median duration of 6 months and up to 9 months for some patients. Patients need only two treatments per year instead of the three or four that other neuromodulators such as Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport require to maintain results.

DAXXIFY (daxibotulinumtoxinA-Ianm) is a new FDA-approved botulinum toxin product for smoothing dynamic wrinkles. It is considered an alternative to Botox with the benefit of longer-lasting results, and it has been proven as an effective and safe injectable neuromodulator treatment.

How is DAXXIFY different than Botox?
The most important difference between DAXXIFY and Botox is longevity. Unlike Botox, Xeomin and Dysport which lasts on average, 3-4 months for most patients, DAXXIFY results last on average 6 months. At least 50% of patients in clinical studies had no or minor frown lines 6 months after treatment. Between 3% and 5% of patients in clinical studies had no or minor frown lines 9 months after treatment.
Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin, use human serum albumin or cow’s milk protein to stabilize botulinum toxin type A, the active ingredient in anti-wrinkle injectables. DAXXIFY is the only formulation containing no human or animal component, but rather amino acids. It’s peptide exchange technology allows treatments to work faster and last longer.
